Predicting Amino Acid Preferences in the Complementarity Determining Regions of an Antibody-Antigen Recognition Interface
Our research team develops antibody therapeutics/diagnostics with the technological platforms developed in our lab. Our technologies, which provide antibody-based solutions to human diseases with short development course at low cost, are based on the phage-displayed GH (Generic Human) synthetic antibody libraries designed and constructed with enabling approaches, leading to the throughput capacities to uplift the innovativeness and productivity in developing antibody therapeutics and diagnostics. In conjunction with the core technologies, antibody bioinformatics capable of extracting knowledge from big data of human antibody repertoires is used to elucidate human antibody responses and to assist antibody library design. We also collaborate with the structural biology groups in Academia Sinica, using x-ray crystallography and cryo-EM for epitope mapping at atomistic details to elucidate the functions and mechanisms of antibody therapeutics.
